I do like being able to switch out the threads on my bag. It’s a simple way to make it feel a little different without convincing myself I need another bag sitting in the closet.

Some of the styles looked a bit nicer in the photos than they did once I had them in hand, and changing them takes more patience than I thought it would. I still think it’s a cool feature, just not quite the effortless little upgrade I had in mind...

The bag looks fine but the pocket setup is annoying. My stuff keeps disappearing in there and I really wish it had more smaller compartments. For something I wanted to use every day, I expected a lot better

I was hoping it would feel more connected to the actual culture, but it kind of came across more like a costume. You want something that feels genuine, and this just didn’t really give me that...

I’m kind of annoyed because the material felt cheap from the start, and after only a few wears the fabric was already fraying. Not sure if it’s the stitching or just poor quality, but it definitely didn’t last like it should have.

The patterns just aren’t for me. They look way too busy and kind of dated, and it felt like there were too many steps just to figure out what might actually look decent. I got frustrated quickly.

The bag itself is fine, so maybe I’m overthinking it a bit, but the shipping took way longer than I expected. The tracking barely changed for days, and I kept wondering if something had gone wrong. I ended up emailing just to ask what was going on. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but it was definitely frustrating.

I don’t know, I really wanted to like this bag. It looked great online, and I guess it still looks decent in person, but for the price I expected it to feel a lot sturdier and more useful. It’s not terrible or anything, just kind of… underwhelming. By the time shipping and the extra costs were added, I kept thinking about how many cheaper bags probably would’ve done the same thing. Wouldn’t buy it again

I took my Ethnotek bag on a 2-week trip, it started getting on my nerves quickly. The pocket layout just felt off to me, especially when I was trying to grab things at airport security or while moving around. I kept having that gut feeling that the bag was making travel harder than it needed to be.
It definitely looks nice, and I wanted to like it more, but for actual travel it just didn’t feel practical. Once it was fully packed, the straps got uncomfortable, and it didn’t hold as much as I expected. Maybe it works for lighter use, but I wouldn’t choose it again for a longer trip

I emailed them twice about my order and had to wait way too long just to get a reply that didn’t really help at all. It felt like they were just trying to brush me off. What annoyed me most was that nobody followed up afterward, even though the issue still wasn’t resolved. I definitely won’t be buying from them again.

I really like how it looks, but once I wear it for a bit, the straps was digging into my shoulders. It felt awkward and not super comfortable, so I probably wouldn't wear it for long...

I really wanted to feel good about buying from them, but I couldn’t find any clear proof of the social impact they kept mentioning. It all felt way too vague, that made my trust completely fall apart. I was sitting there like, okay, but where’s the actual evidence? Without that, I just couldn’t bring myself to buy.

I’ve been using this bag for work, gym stuff, and the occasional short trip, and overall it’s useful. The pockets do the job, and it switches from everyday bag to travel bag without making a big dramatic scene, which is always appreciated.

That said, once it’s fully packed, it starts to feel a little awkward to carry, because apparently convenience has terms and conditions. Also, smaller items somehow disappear into the void inside, but that’s not exactly new for bags. Good idea and mostly practical, just not totally perfect for me

I really wanted to give this bag a fair shot because it does look nice, and I wasn’t expecting it to survive a storm or anything. But I got caught in light rain for about 15 minutes, and when I opened it up later, some of my stuff inside was damp.

For the price, I feel like it’s reasonable to expect a bag to handle normal everyday weather a little better. I’m not being overly picky here, I just need something I can actually trust if there’s a chance of rain during the day. Disappointed overall...

It looks good, but it’s a little awkward to use day to day. The zippers get on my nerves, and the pockets feel kind of oddly placed. I was also charged right away and didn’t really get an update for a while, which was a bit annoying

I was looking around for clear proof on where the stuff came from, but the sourcing details was just not there for me. Couldn’t really feel confident without that

It definitely has a unique style and stands out, which I can appreciate. Personally, though, it wasn’t totally for me. I think it’s a good choice if you like something a little different, but it didn’t feel like the best fit for my taste.

I tried to exchange a bag and, at least from my experience, the process was frustrating. The replies were slow, and I still ended up paying for shipping, which I didn’t really expect. Maybe I missed some fine print somewhere, but it just felt like way more hassle than it should’ve been.

I was hoping it would have a little more room, but it barely fits the stuff I carry every day. It works, I guess, but I’m a bit disappointed... expected it to be more practical

At first I thought the bag was decent, but after a few weeks I’m not so sure. The stitching is already coming loose and one of the straps feels kind of weak, which is frustrating because I haven’t even been rough with it. I wanted to like it, and I guess it looked fine at first, but for the price I really expected it to last a lot longer.

The box showed up, and it was kind of a bit dented, so yeah, the packaging was just okay overall.
